Research impact communication
The National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) commissioned me to write a series of impact case studies showing how the research they fund makes a real-world difference. These included improvements to patient care, influences on health policy, and wider benefits to people’s health and wellbeing.
The case studies are used across NIHR's website, social media and communications campaigns to demonstrate the value and reach of funded research to the public, researchers, clinicians and policy makers.

To develop an impact case study for your organisation, I typically work from background information provided by your team, including project summaries, publications, reports and interview material where relevant.
I'll use these to shape your research information, or patients' lived experience, into clear, engaging stories tailored to public, professional or policy audiences.

This project involved developing concise and informative content for an infographic highlighting NIHR-funded cancer research.
The resource helped communicate how research led to improvements in NHS cancer care and more cost-effective treatment approaches, translating complex information into a clear and accessible format for wider audiences.
