I’m a freelance editor and writer specialising in health and medicine. I’ve worked across the health sector for more than 20 years, providing editorial and communications support for research organisations, charities, learned publishers and educators.

During that time, I’ve developed, written and edited a wide range of health and science content, from patient information and public-facing materials to research articles and medical education modules.

My career grew from a longstanding interest in biomedical sciences, leading to a first-class degree in biology and a Master’s degree in public health. I began my editorial career in academic publishing before moving into roles in medical education and health research communications.

I’m also a Professional member of the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading.

I offer specialist writing, content development and editorial services to help organisations shape complex information into clear, accessible communication. My cross-sector experience means I bring both editorial expertise and strategic insight to each project, with an understanding of the wider context your work sits within.

My approach is thoughtful, precise and focused on the needs of your audience and your organisation.
