The content development process
Content development (also called structural editing) focuses on the overall organisation, direction and effectiveness of a piece while it’s still being developed. I review structure, flow, messaging and audience focus, providing feedback on areas that need clarification, restructuring or further development.
The aim is to shape complex information into content that is coherent, purposeful and appropriate for its intended audience.

Scope of content development
Content development focuses on the organisation, development and communication of your content rather than sentence-level correction.

Content development does not usually include:
rewriting entire sections
carrying out additional research
detailed copyediting for grammar, punctuation and style
